I know I've only got time for one class, but I'm trying to choose between taking one of the classes I actually 'need' for my 'degree path' or other stuff. I *should* take either illustration studio or design studio this semester. But I've seen some of the work from the illustration class and it's well above my ability, and the work from the design class is all letterheads, business cards and stationery. Boring.
I saw a few drawing courses that seemed a little more interesting than building something for a customer. One called 'contemporary drawing' - I'm not sure exactly what that class is - and there are two options of figure drawing I could take. One I've already taken, but would love to repeat to get more practice and the higher version of the figure drawing class.
Maybe I'll be super-random and enroll in philosophy.
I've been trying to design a creature-character, just for fun. I find it really difficult to render something that I want to appear plausible, but that I have never seen and that doesn't exist. But I'm stuck. How do you give a clock an emotive face that's looks like it could be real?
